We have been experimenting with mark making with a view to developing these ideas into a landscape painting. We have been based at the Museum of East Anglian Life which sits on a site of almost eighty acres of fields and water meadows. A wonderfully inspiring setting to think about painting landscape.
A wonderful environment to explore. I could have done many more quick and tiny sketches. It will be good to continue next week on a larger scale with more detail and colour.

I have never tried landscape painting or mark making. Both of these I have done over the last six weeks. I’ve found it interesting.
